The design of the wood Ngauruhoe desk lamp was inspired by the cone form of the iconic New Zealand volcanic mountain. During a visit to The Louvre in Paris in my early twenties, I realized that the glass pyramid that forms the entrance has an inverted sister built into the complex too. Pairing these two ideas together created the exploration and realization of Ngauruhoe.
This wood lampshade comes with a lamp holder and chord. Ships in approx 3 weeks from order as this item is made to order.
Manufactured from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) plywood with a natural oil finish and flat packed in 100% recyclable packaging complete with assembly and installation instructions and a limited edition certificate. Item is flat packed and can be assembled without screws or glues.
