This Small Smart Space has been designed by a Certified Passive House and Architectural Designer. Designed to have low operating costs and using low embodied carbon materials, this design uses SIPS panel construction, uPVC recessed joinery and Airtightness. This design reduces the operational energy footprint of a typical house. Designed with efficient space and water heating considerations.
This design can be Passive House and Homestar Certified. Designed with Offsite and High-performance materials. Passive House annual power consumption for this design can be no more than 825 kWH/year and aims to stay at a constant 20 Degrees Celsius year round. Energy Modeling is available as an additional service for this design to access exact specification required for High or Passive House Performance for your specific location.

This design works really well with renewable energy sources such as PV panels due to the efficiency in the design and specification. Materials with low Carbon embodiment have also been chosen to reduce the Embodied Carbon footprint.

Enclosed in a simple form is open plan living with a combined kitchen, dining and living area.
